Carlisle, Pennsylvania, once again will be the lovely setting of Simcha (Joy!), Chosen People Ministries' annual Messianic retreat in partnership with Son of David Messianic Congregation of Wheaton, Maryland. The theme will be Discipleship... Messianic Style! We hope you will join us for what will certainly be a wonderful time of worship, teaching, fellowship and fun!

Join us for Messianic teaching, worship, fellowship, and fun!Scott Brown joined Chosen People Ministries in 1988 and planted Son of David Congregation (SODC) in the Washington, D.C. area. In 1998, Scott relinquished his Chosen People position to better serve SODC's growing community. This summer, Scott, his wife Marjorie, and four of their seven children will move to New Zealand where Scott will serve again as a Chosen People staff member "down under." Scott will be bringing four messages on DiscipleMaking and there will be workshops on these topics:

  • Jewish Evangelism
  • A Jewish Approach to the Scriptures
  • Living for Yeshua
  • Congregational Life and Worship
  • Messianic Prayer

Fun for Kids

Join us for Messianic teaching, worship, fellowship, and fun!We are planning a spectacular kids' program that features joyful worship and challenging Bible teaching, with the same theme: "Discipleship... Messianic Style!" Your kids will enjoy Hebrew lessons, games, snacks and Jewish arts and crafts!

Teen Simcha

Messianic Jewish conference: Simcha 2008. Join us for Messianic teaching, worship, fellowship, and fun!Mike Vowell, Messianic pastor of outreach and evangelism, will be leading a program for teens ages 13-18 that features modern worship, workshops on life challenges and main sessions exploring the relevance of God's Word to issues faced by teens today. And of course, the teens can expect some great games and fun when night falls!
