About Dennis and Tina Karp
Dennis Karp grew up in a traditional Jewish family in the Washington, D.C., area. He came to faith through the work of Chosen People Ministries and has been serving the Lord ever since. Dennis has been a branch, regional, and national director for Chosen People Ministries and was vice president from 2003 to 2004. He planted a Messianic congregation in northern Virginia, which he pastored from August 1998 until July 2007. Then, God called Dennis to Israel. He and his family lived in Jerusalem for four years, serving as assistant director of Beit Sar Shalom (“The House of the Prince of Peace”), Chosen People Ministries’ global partner in Israel. He taught Bible seminars, discipled believers, led a home fellowship, and pastored a staff of some twenty-five people. Dennis was also involved in the humanitarian work of Beit Sar Shalom.
The Lord called Dennis and his family back to the United States in July 2011. Dennis assumed the role of mid-Atlantic regional director of Chosen People Ministries. Additionally, he led Son of David Congregation in Maryland, mentoring young believers and speaking on the Jewishness of the gospel. He also oversaw the outreach of Chosen People Ministries in the Washington, D.C. area. In November of 2023, Dennis and his wife, Tina, returned to Israel, where he now serves as the ministry’s chairman of their leadership team. He continues to teach, evangelize, counsel, and conduct humanitarian outreach there. Dennis welcomes the opportunity to proclaim his faith and his burden for outreach and teach the Jewish perspective of the Bible.
