SUMMARY:Fun in the Son 2026
DESCRIPTION:About Fun in the Son\n\n\n\nHow many times have you said… \n\n\n\n“I have this Jewish (friend\, neighbor\, doctor)\, and I really want to share the Lord with him or her\, but I don’t know how to?” Chosen People Ministries would like to offer you an answer. \n\n\n\nOur Fun in the Son evangelistic outreach is both an educational and cultural program designed to help you learn the Jewish roots of our Christian faith and put this knowledge into practical application. You can share the Messiah with your Jewish friends! \n\n\n\nSouth Florida is the 2nd largest Jewish population in the USA. 750\,000 Jewish people who live in South Florida desperately need to hear the gospel.  South Florida truly resembles Luke 10:2 “The harvest is plentiful\, but the workers are few.” Fun in the Son will be held in beautiful Boynton Beach\, in Palm Beach County. \n\n\n\nOur time together will be during the height of “the Season\,” when thousands of “snowbirds” flock here to stay for the “winter.” During this time population doubles\, and it seems like the people are mostly Jewish from New York. \n\n\n\nWe promise you a week of planting and harvesting the gospel seed for his harvest.  We will truly exalt the Son in the Sunshine state during Fun in the Son. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nContact\n\n\n\nFor more information\, please contact Jim Fox (561) 737-1431 or jfox@chosenpeople.com

SUMMARY:Simcha South Retreat
DESCRIPTION:This year’s theme: Shavuot (Pentecost) \n\n\n\nSimcha\, meaning “joy” in Hebrew\, is a time for believers to celebrate the joy we have in Messiah. This retreat is designed for Jewish and Gentile believers in Jesus affiliated with Chosen People Ministries or Messianic congregations in the Southeast region of the United States. Perfectly suited for both individuals and families of all sizes\, Simcha features musical worship\, teaching\, and workshops to deepen our walk with the Lord. We know this weekend together in nature will provide much-needed refreshment! \n\n\n\n“‘. . . all you people of the land take courage\,’ declares the Lord\, ‘and work; for I am with you\,’ declares the Lord of hosts” (Haggai 2:4). \n\n\n\n\nWe offer housing options for individuals\, couples\, double occupancy with separate beds\, and family housing. All on-campus housing includes accommodations for two nights\, meals for Friday dinner through Sunday lunch\, all main sessions for all ages\, and access to the retreat center grounds for activities and pool time.\n\n\n\nOff-campus guests for the full weekend get full access to the events and conference center activities. Meals include dinner on Friday through lunch on Sunday. Off-campus housing allows commuters from the local area to come and enjoy the weekend with us. If we are fully booked\, this option allows guests to find housing accommodations at local hotels and still enjoy Simcha with us!\n\n\n\n\nRegistration will open the first week of March. \n\n\n\nCost per person for the event is between $80-$220 depending on the age (child or adult) and accommodations (single/double occupancy\, and off- or on-campus). \n\n\n\n\n\nSpeakers\n\n\n\n\nMichael Herts \n\n\n\nDr. Michael Herts\, a Jewish believer in Jesus\, was raised on Long Island\, New York. He faithfully attended a Conservative Jewish synagogue and became a Bar Mitzvah at age 13. In 10th grade\, he was first exposed to the good news of Messiah in an understandable way. After two years of searching\, he came to believe Jesus is the Jewish Messiah. \n\n\n\nFrom that moment his whole life changed. His family was very hurt and some were very angry about his decision. Contrary to what his grandmother thought he did not become a Gentile but instead gained a deeper appreciation of what it meant to really be Jewish. To worship and serve the God of Israel\, and accept His Messiah\, His plan of Atonement and reconciliation suddenly made sense. \n\n\n\nAs Dr. Herts grew in his faith\, he gained a deeper understanding of the connection between the older and newer covenants. He came to understand the importance of being a testimony to God’s faithfulness to His people by maintaining his Jewish identity\, showing that he can be Jewish and believe in Jesus. With time his heart became even more burdened for reaching Jewish people with the good news of Messiah. \n\n\n\nOver the years he has served in leadership positions in various congregational settings. In 2005 he formed a team to plant a congregation in Virginia. In 2009 he received his ordination. In July 2010 he accepted the invitation to serve God as a missionary with Chosen People Ministries. \n\n\n\nHe is the husband of a retired United States Air Force Colonel. He is also the proud father of three wonderful children who each love the Lord. He earned a Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.)\, a Master of Education (M.Ed.)\, and a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree. \n\n\n\n\n\nRich Freeman \n\n\n\nRichard Freeman was born and raised in Brooklyn\, New York in a traditionally Jewish\, though not religious\, family. He did\, however\, receive religious training for five years in a conservative synagogue and received his Bar Mitzvah at age thirteen. Following that experience\, though staunchly Jewish nationalistically\, he drifted away from the synagogue and attended only on the special Jewish holidays. \n\n\n\nIn 1973 Rich married Julia DeBellis who was from an Italian Catholic background. It was primarily through Julia’s spiritual pilgrimage that God reached Rich. But first he met a born-again Christian\, his supervisor at work. Though Rich responded angrily at first to this man sharing his faith\, his life was a wonderful testimony of the peace and joy that comes to those who put their faith and trust in the Lord. The joy in his life made Rich jealous and opened his heart to what was to come. In August 1982\, Julia accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior and immediately began praying for her husband’s salvation. In January 1983\, God answered that prayer. Through the ministry of Chosen People Ministries\, Rich heard and responded to the gospel message and accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Immediately\, God gave him a hunger to know Him and His Word intimately. He immersed himself in the Bible and was discipled by his pastor. \n\n\n\nIn the summer of 1987 Rich and Julia responded to God’s call and moved to Dallas\, Texas where he attended Dallas Theological Seminary. While in Dallas\, Rich worked as a missionary with Chosen People Ministries. Before finishing the degree program at Dallas\, he was called to pastor the congregation where he was saved\, Light of Israel Messianic Congregation. He became pastor of that congregation in December 1989. In 1994\, Rich also became pastor of Dunwoodie Baptist Church in Yonkers\, New York\, which is where Light of Israel’s services were held. For five years of his ten-year pastorate he enjoyed the unique challenge of pastoring two congregations. \n\n\n\nRich finished his studies\, begun in Dallas\, at Conservative Baptist Seminary of the East\, where he received his M.Div.\, in September 1994. On July 1\, 1999 he assumed his position as Vice-President and Director of Church Ministries and Conferences for Chosen People Ministries. Rich received his D.Min. at Gordon- Conwell Seminary in 2004. \n\n\n\nRich works with churches throughout the country and abroad. He teaches Bible Conferences on various topics such as Jewish Evangelism\, Messianic Prophecy\, End-Time Prophecy\, The Church and Israel\, The Feasts of Israel\, and much more. He also ministers to local churches in Florida where he and his family reside. \n\n\n\n\n\nJim FoxThe Law has become the central focus of modern Judaism. It has also become an issue of contention among believers. On Saturday evening Jim will be sharing a message on “The Believer’s Relationship to the Law” \n\n\n\nJim Fox came to know the Lord through the work of Chosen People Ministries (then the American Board of Missions to the Jews) as a child in Coney Island\, Brooklyn. He was discipled over the years by a number of CPM missionaries. After getting an undergraduate degree in Chemistry and spending some time in the Navy\, he and his young family went to Dallas where Jim earned a ThM in Pastoral Ministry from Dallas Theological Seminary. He spent time on staff with Chosen People Ministries in the New York area for a number of years before going into pastoral ministry for 13 years. He returned to CPM to assist with the work in South Florida. \n\n\n\nJim helps lead three of the monthly Messianic Fellowships in South Florida\, leads the annual Fun in the Son outreach in South Florida\, and is an elder of Common Ground Church in Lake Worth Beach. He is married to his best friend and partner in ministry Rebecca. They have four children and six grandchildren. Jim & Rebecca lead worship at three of our Messianic Fellowships and also assist in worship at their church. \n\n\n\n\n\nRoy Schwarcz \n\n\n\nRoy Schwarcz was born and raised in New York City and grew up deeply connected to his Jewish heritage. After coming to faith in Yeshua as the promised Messiah of Israel\, he devoted his life to Jewish ministry and gospel outreach. \n\n\n\nRoy has served on college campuses\, led home Bible studies\, and helped plant Messianic congregations in the Chicago area and in Toronto\, Ontario. Today\, his primary ministry focus is in the Chicago region\, where he leads  Beth Sar Shalom \, a monthly Messianic Jewish fellowship that meets at Moody Church. He also serves with the  Olive Tree Congregation  in the Chicago suburbs\, the first congregation he planted with Chosen People Ministries. In addition to his local ministry\, Roy serves as Vice President for Fellowships and Congregations with Chosen People Ministries and is leading a team to establish a new outreach in the Bay Area\, beginning in the city of San Francisco. \n\n\n\nRoy is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and holds a Master of Arts in Theology from the  Charles L. Feinberg Center  at Biola University. He is the author of  Where Jesus Walked . Roy and his wife Joanne are blessed with four daughters and eleven grandchildren.

SUMMARY:Shalom New York 2026
DESCRIPTION:About Shalom New York\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEvery summer\, believers from all over the United States gather in New York City for Shalom New York to proclaim the good news to our beloved Jewish people! \n\n\n\nWe know nothing is more important than the true hope\, peace (shalom)\, and forgiveness of sins we graciously receive through Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah. \n\n\n\nThis truth is especially critical right now when Jewish people around the world face a growing onslaught of antisemitism. Yet\, many Jewish people are more open to spiritual matters during this time! \n\n\n\nDuring Shalom New York\, we break up into small teams to go out and share the gospel at various locations throughout the city: in parks\, in subway stations\, and on the streets. In addition to our usual cutting-edge training\, outreach\, and follow-up\, we also feature a special Jewish cultural day\, Sabbath dinner celebration\, and more. \n\n\n\nIf you love to proclaim your faith in Jesus and have a heart for Israel and Jewish people\, Shalom New York 2026 may be one of the most significant opportunities you will have to be part of God’s work of drawing His people to Himself! \n\n\n\nWhen you participate\, you will:\n\n\n\n\n\nLearn from some of our most experienced missionaries \n\n\n\nDiscover the Jewish community of New York City \n\n\n\nDo ministry in different contexts—urban and suburban\, Orthodox and secular\, etc. \n\n\n\nFollow God’s priority in evangelism—“to the Jew first” (Romans 1:16) \n\n\n\nBuild relationships with other believers who are passionate about God’s chosen people\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCost\n\n\n\n$1850with hotel accommodations$650without hotel accommodations\n\n\n\nThe cost includes food\, supplies\, T-shirts\, a backpack\, training and evangelistic materials\, cultural excursions\, and transportation within the city. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nShow the love of Yeshua to Jewish communities throughout New York City\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTestimonials\n\n\n\n\nI handed an “I Found Shalom” tract to a 30-year-old Israeli man who said\, “I am looking for shalom.” I said\, “I have found shalom. . . .” Bill and I were able to share our testimonies and also how God loved us enough to sacrifice His only Son\, Yeshua\, the spotless Lamb once and for all\, for our sins. \nMarcelle\n\n\n\n\nI had been talking to Mr. Luis for a few minutes . . . . Suddenly he speaks up\, ”Now I have Jewish friends\, and you’re saying that this is for them?” Bingo! If nothing else\, I hope that I have represented to Luis that God cares for the Jews\, His people. That God has a plan extending far into history which He has not given up on. Yes\, believing in Jesus is very Jewish. \nJonathan\n\n\n\n\nAs I was passing out tracts\, a bus driver got off the bus and came up to me and said\, “Hey\, where did you come from?” I laughed as I handed him a brochure. He said\, “What are you doing out here?” I began to explain to him about Jesus. He said\, “Wow\, so amazing. God bless you. I wish I had more time” as he hurried off back to the bus. \nMissy\n\n\n\n\nA young student from NYU came up to the table asking if the information would help him with emotional struggles in his life due to serious medical problems and surgery he recently had. We were able to share that the God of peace can reveal Himself through Isaiah 53 as explained in the book he was holding. \nRon\n\n\n\n\nApply now!

SUMMARY:Erev Rosh Hashanah 2026
DESCRIPTION:This is an Erev Rosh Hashanah—9/11 Memorial Service. We will briefly remember the tragedy of September 11\, 2001\, demonstrating how the hope associated with Rosh Hashanah gives us the courage and faith to endure and overcome the tragedies of this life. This service is for all who seek the comfort and strength that only the God of Israel can provide through the message and ultimate fulfillment of Rosh Hashanah. \n\n\n\nWhy This Year?\n\n\n\nThis year marks the twenty-fifth anniversary of the 9/11 attack on New York City\, a day that will forever touch the lives of those who experienced it. We honor the victims and heroes by reverently remembering that tragic loss of life and the sacrifice of so many who responded with courage\, aid\, and comfort. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMitch talks about a unique Rosh Hashanah service he led just days after 9/11. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Evening—What to Expect\n\n\n\nWe will begin the service by remembering the events of September 11\, 2001. SUMMARY:Erev Yom Kippur Worship and Prayer Service
DESCRIPTION:STANDING TOGETHER BEFORE THE GOD OF ISRAEL\n\n\n\nOn the eve of Yom Kippur—the Day of Atonement—believers from across New York City will gather in one room to pray. \n\n\n\nWe will worship\, read Scripture\, and confess our sins. For most of the two hours\, we will pray: for Israel\, for the Jewish people of this city\, and for a hunger for God that only God can give. \n\n\n\nNew York City is home to the largest Jewish community in the world outside of Israel. On the holiest night of the Jewish year\, we will stand and ask God to protect them. \n\n\n\nAll are welcome. Come humble yourself\, worship\, and pray. \n\n\n\n\nSeek the Lord while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near.— Isaiah 55:6 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWHY WE ARE GATHERING\n\n\n\nFOR ISRAELWe will pray for the safety of her people\, for the wounded\, for families burying their dead\, for those still displaced\, and for leaders who need wisdom. \n\n\n\nFOR NEW YORK’S JEWISH COMMUNITYNew York City is home to the largest Jewish community in the world outside of Israel. We will pray for their families\, for their synagogues\, for their schools\, and against the hatred and violence aimed at them. \n\n\n\nFOR SPIRITUAL AWAKENINGWe will pray that people would seek God again—the God of Abraham\, Isaac\, and Jacob—and that they would experience His mercy in Yeshua (Jesus)\, Israel’s promised Messiah. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWHY THIS MATTERS\n\n\n\nTHE GOSPEL IS JEWISHThe gospel did not begin in Europe or America; it began in Israel. Yeshua is Jewish. So were His apostles. The Scriptures He fulfilled were Israel’s Scriptures\, and the promises He kept were made to Abraham\, Isaac\, Jacob\, and David. What He proclaimed was redemption for Israel\, and through Israel\, for the nations. \n\n\n\nONE NEW HUMANITY IN MESSIAHPaul wrote that Messiah tore down the wall between Jewish and Gentile People and made the two one. One does not replace the other. Both Jewish and Gentile followers of the Messiah are one body reconciled to God (Ephesians 2:16). On September 20\, the two will come together united in prayer for Israel and the Jewish people. \n\n\n\n\nFor He Himself is our peace\, who made both groups into one . . . —Ephesians 2:14 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWHAT TO EXPECT\n\n\n\nThis two-hour service will include Messianic Jewish worship\, teaching from the Scriptures\, confession\, and repentance. Then we will pray for Israel\, for this city’s Jewish community\, and for the sick. \n\n\n\nThis event is free. Register so we know how many people to prepare for. \n\n\n\n\nPray for the peace of Jerusalem: ‘May they prosper who love you.’ —Psalm 122:6 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWHEN AND WHERE\n\n\n\nDate: Sunday\, September 20\, 2026Time: 4:00–6:00 p.m.Location: Life Center Church · 75 Maiden Lane\, 12th Floor · New York\, NY 10038Cost: FreeNearest trains: Fulton St (2/3/4/5/A/C/J/Z)\, Wall St\, Broad St. Enter on Maiden Lane and take the elevator to the 12th floor. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCOME PRAY FOR ISRAEL AND FOR THE JEWISH PEOPLE OF NEW YORK\n\n\n\nYou don’t need to be Jewish\, know the prayers\, or have done this before. \n\n\n\nCome worship and pray with us. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nFor through Him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father.—Ephesians 2:18 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFAQ\n\n\n\nDo I need to be Jewish to come?\nNo. All are welcome. \n\n\n\n\nDoes it cost anything?\nThere is no cost\, but please register so we can count seats. \n\n\n\n\nWhat is Erev Yom Kippur?\nErev is Hebrew for “evening.” Yom Kippur\, the Day of Atonement\, is the holiest day of the Jewish year—a day of fasting\, repentance\, and seeking God. We meet in the evening to pray. \n\n\n\n\nIs this a Yom Kippur service?\nIt is a prayer service\, not a synagogue Kol Nidre service. Expect Messianic Jewish worship\, teaching\, and a long stretch of prayer. \n\n\n\n\nCan I bring my family or my group?\nYes. Register each person so our count is right.

SUMMARY:Feast of Tabernacles Celebration
DESCRIPTION:A celebration of the biblical Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot).\n\n\n\nWhat to Expect\n\n\n\nOn Friday\, October 2 at 7 p.m.\, we will gather at the sukkah\, a temporary booth built for the festival\, on the third-floor deck of Chosen People Ministries’ headquarters\, weather permitting. There we will worship the God of Israel in song\, enter the sukkah\, and\, following the tradition described in the Torah (Leviticus 23:40)\, shake the lulav (bound palm branches) and lift the etrog (a citron fruit). Afterward\, we will go downstairs for a short message on the biblical significance of Sukkot\, followed by food and fellowship in the joyful spirit of the season. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWho This Is for\n\n\n\nWe welcome Jewish believers\, Christians interested in the Jewish roots of their faith\, and anyone curious about this festival. No prior knowledge of Hebrew or of Sukkot is needed. Scripture describes this celebration continuing among all nations during the messianic kingdom (Zechariah 14:16)\, so the hope behind Sukkot extends well beyond this one gathering. If you are wondering whether there is hope for the future\, this festival points to it: God’s promise that He will dwell with His people forever (Revelation 21:3–4). \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWho You Will Meet\n\n\n\nRich Flashman\, a Jewish believer in Yeshua (Jesus)\, professor of theology\, and Chosen People Ministries’ Manhattan branch leader\, will serve as our speaker and host. Raphael Giglio\, a Jewish believer in Yeshua\, pastor\, and songwriter\, will co-host and lead worship alongside his wife\, Ally. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhy It Matters\n\n\n\nThe God of Israel laid out a plan for humanity through the biblical festivals appointed in the Torah\, the first five books of the Bible. Sukkot points to the fulfillment of that plan. We celebrate it as an act of worship for His provision and protection\, and as an act of faith anticipating the future reality of dwelling with Him forever in His presence. This festival connects us to history\, acknowledges our present blessings\, and offers a hope for the future that nothing in this world can take away. The Feast of Tabernacles is a chance to celebrate our eternal fellowship with the God of Israel\, the one who created us\, sustains us\, redeems us\, loves us\, and dwells with us forever. \n\n\n\nWe are gathering to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles on Hoshana Rabbah\, the seventh day of the festival. Its Hebrew name means “the great hoshana\,” “hoshana” being a plea for God’s salvation. Participants will take part in ancient Sukkot traditions; worship the God of Abraham\, Isaac\, and Jacob with music in thanks for His faithfulness; learn the biblical message of Sukkot; and rejoice together with food and fellowship in His provision and protection. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFAQ\n\n\n\nWho can attend\, and do I need to know Hebrew or the holiday of Sukkot beforehand?\nThis event is for everyone\, Jewish people and Gentiles alike\, who want to grow in relationship with the God of Abraham\, Isaac\, and Jacob\, the God and Father of Yeshua the Messiah. No prior knowledge of Hebrew or of Sukkot is necessary. \n\n\n\n\nHow do I get there?\nChosen People Ministries’ headquarters is at 241 E. 51st Street\, New York\, NY. You can get here via subway by taking the 6 train to Lexington Ave./51st St\, or by taking the E or F train to Lexington Ave./53rd St. Bus stops and paid parking garages are also nearby. \n\n\n\n\nIs the building accessible?\nThe venue does not have an elevator. Getting to our sukkah on the third floor deck requires walking up two flights of stairs. \n\n\n\n\nWhat happens if it rains?\nIn case of rain\, all activities will move inside.

SUMMARY:Remembering October 7
DESCRIPTION:On the morning of October 7\, 2023\, the world changed forever. What began as a peaceful holiday morning in Israel was shattered by sirens\, gunfire\, and a devastating wave of terror. Families were forced to flee for safety\, communities were attacked\, and in a matter of hours\, more than 1\,200 people were murdered. \n\n\n\nParents lost children\, spouses lost one another\, and countless families were left to grieve lives cut short and futures forever altered. Others were taken hostage into Gaza\, leaving their loved ones trapped in a torment of uncertainty\, counting the days\, clinging to hope\, and living with the unbearable question of what each passing day might bring. \n\n\n\nThree years later\, we gather because these lives must never become statistics. We remember those tragically lost\, the families and survivors whose lives were shattered\, those who endured captivity\, and the loved ones who carried the weight of absence\, uncertainty\, and grief. \n\n\n\nIn remembrance of those we lost\, and in steadfast solidarity with those who continue to grieve\, Remembering October 7 is a solemn memorial gathering sponsored by Chosen People Ministries and the Coalition Against Antisemitism. We will hear testimony from an Israeli\, share in music and prayer\, reflect on Israel’s right to exist and flourish\, and look toward a brighter future grounded in hope. Adults of all ages are welcome. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOctober 7\, 2026 | 7:00–9:00 p.m.Chosen People Ministries Headquarters241 East 51st Street\, New York\, NY 10022 \n\n\n\n\nRegister Now\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAt a time when antisemitism is once again rising\, we come together to remember those we lost\, stand with those who grieve\, and reaffirm our commitment to hope. May their stories continue to be told\, their memories honored\, and their lives never forgotten. May we leave this evening strengthened in our resolve to stand together against hatred and to work toward a future marked by peace\, security\, and hope for Israel\, the Jewish people\, and the world.

The first event is dinner at 6 p.m. in Tel Aviv. For returning home\, we advise you to look for flights which leave in the early hours of March 12. Most transatlantic flights leave between midnight and 6 a.m. We recommend arriving at the airport three hours before your scheduled departure\, so you might need to leave for the airport the day before your flight. If you need to book an extra night at the hotel\, let us know immediately. \n\n\n\nDo I need a visa?Yes. You must apply for the ETA-IL entry permit ($7\, takes 1–2 days for approval) at least 72 hours before departure. Passport must be valid for at least 6 months. \n\n\n\nHow do I get to and from the airport?Take a taxi from the airport to the hotel ($50–75\, cash or card). It takes about one hour to get to Tel Aviv. The process is the same upon departure. \n\n\n\n\nPhysical Requirements\nDo I need to be fit?Moderate fitness helps. Most days involve 2–4 miles of walking in the sun with rest stops. You will encounter stone paths\, uneven terrain\, and 50–100 steps at some sites. \n\n\n\nIf you can walk 30–45 minutes at a time and manage stairs\, you will do great. Comfortable walking shoes are essential. \n\n\n\n\nWhat to Pack\nClothing: Light layers (cotton/linen)\, light jacket for evenings\, comfortable walking shoes\, sun protection (hat\, sunglasses\, sunscreen)\, swimsuit for the Dead Sea\, modest clothing for sacred sites (shoulders/knees covered)\, and one nicer outfit for dinners. \n\n\n\nElectronics: Plug adapter (Type C\, same as Europe). Most modern devices only need an adapter\, not a converter. Bring battery packs. \n\n\n\nOther Essentials: Passport\, medications (in original containers)\, Bible\, and journal. Be sure to keep your medications and a change of clothes in your carry-on. \n\n\n\n\nMoney & Currency\nWhat currency do I need?Israel’s national currency is the New Israeli Shekel (NIS). US dollars are accepted at tourist sites. Credit cards are accepted almost everywhere. ATMs are easy to find. Notify your bank before travel. \n\n\n\n\nFood & Dietary\nWhat about meals?Hotels serve kosher-style meals (dairy breakfast\, meat dinner). Breakfasts include cheeses\, fish\, vegetables\, eggs\, salad\, and pastries. Dinners are meat-focused with vegetarian options. Most hotels offer gluten-free choices. Lunches are on your own. \n\n\n\n\nDuring the Tour\nWill there be worship and teaching?Yes. The trip includes daily devotionals\, worship\, and Messianic teaching as a group. You will see Scripture come alive as you walk in the places where many of these events occurred. \n\n\n\nCan I extend my stay?Yes. Arrive early or stay after at your own expense. Contact our tour administrator before booking flights. We can often help with hotel reservations. \n\n\n\nWhat about my phone?Hotels have WiFi. Alert your phone company about overseas travel and get international data. We will create a WhatsApp group for tour communication. \n\n\n\n\nRooming & Occupancy\nAccommodations are based on double occupancy. Single rooms are available for an additional $1\,410 single supplement.
