When asked why Chosen People Ministries engages in these studies, Dr. Mitch Glaser said, “This research helps us understand not only where evangelicals stand today, but how those views are being shaped by theology, culture, and world events. These insights are critical for effective ministry, informed dialogue, and strengthening Christian-Jewish understanding.”
The study was led by Dr. Kirill Bumin, an expert at Boston University on American public opinion and Christian-Jewish relations; and Dr. Motti Inbari, Professor of Jewish Studies at University of North Carolina at Pembroke. The nationally representative survey was fielded in December 2025 with 3,850 self-identified mainline and evangelical respondents, and included a large group of those who strongly hold to the basics of evangelical beliefs as outlined by the National Association of Evangelicals, including the need for all people to embrace Jesus as their personal Savior.
