God is working through our Chosen People Ministries—Israel staff. From Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and all across Israel, our staff is bearing much fruit, as Jesus promised, “My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples” (John 15:8).
There are so many stories about our staff engaging with young Jewish people, Holocaust survivors, new immigrants to Israel, and others, that it would be impossible to share them all with you. The ministry is especially sensitive these days because of the war, the situation of the hostages, and the unrest throughout Israel. Today’s Israelis, who are not finding hope in much else, desperately need the gospel!
Here is just a sampling of the wonderful, hopeful stories happening within our ministry.
Reviving Hope in Young Israelis
We are seeing God moving in the hearts of young men and women, especially since the tragedies of October 7, 2023. Our staff is ministering to three young Israelis who recently came to faith in Jesus as a result of the personal anguish they endured because of the ongoing war.
All three had decided to take their own lives, and Jesus rescued each of them in their darkest hour, keeping them from ending their young lives. Suicide has become a major issue among younger, traumatized Israelis, including soldiers and even teens who are losing hope.
One of these is a social media influencer with hundreds of thousands of followers! God is already using her to impact thousands with the gospel! Another young Israeli, impressed with how the Lord is changing her boyfriend, accepted Jesus and is studying the Bible with one of our staff at the Tel Aviv center, and she loves attending the events there.
Please pray we can continue bringing the message of hope and life to desperate and despairing Israelis. We launched a Facebook campaign called the Psalms of Hope, and more than 5,000 Israelis downloaded the modern Hebrew version of the Psalms we are offering.
This response is amazing and an answer to our prayers! Jewish people often read the Psalms, which describe the beauty of a personal relationship with God. For just that reason, the “Hymnbook of Israel” is such a wonderful tool for evangelism.
Children’s Ministry
Our children’s ministry continues to expand and is now reaching children across Israel. We are engaging children from not-yet-believing, new immigrant families through events, Jewish holiday celebrations, and camps. Our team produced and distributed a Purim (Feast of Esther)-themed coloring book along with other inspiring educational materials. This year alone, we impacted more than 1,000 children in Jerusalem, Haifa, Ashkelon, and Ofakim. Each event provides an opportunity to present the good news of God’s love to these young hearts.

In response to the war, we also launched a specialized emotional support program for children experiencing war trauma. These programs, operating in Ashkelon, Jerusalem, and Ofakim, consist of weekly group meetings for three months with groups of up to twenty children. A professional psychologist from the United States has been instrumental in this effort. Additionally, we organized five children’s camps throughout the year, each lasting five days, with most of the attendees coming from non-believing families. We also launched a weekly kids’ club in Ashkelon and plan to expand this ministry to Jerusalem and Haifa.
We are introducing the Messiah Jesus to the next generation and thereby building strong relationships with new families. We know these precious people will remember what they learned during the darkness of the war in the light when, by God’s grace, the hostilities end! Right now, all we can do is embrace these hurting children and their parents with the love of Jesus.
Praise God, dozens of children opened their hearts to the Lord!
Holocaust Survivors Ministry
Israel is home to approximately 130,000 Holocaust survivors, and we actively serve 2,000 of them in multiple cities, including Jerusalem, Ashkelon, Ashdod, Sderot, Ofakim, Tel Aviv, and Haifa. We provide practical and spiritual support, home visits for the lonely and ill, assistance with transportation and company at medical appointments, and limited medical supplies. We operate six Holocaust survivor clubs where these immigrants to Israel at an average age of ninety-two enjoy weekly meetings that offer fellowship, Bible studies, and oftentimes meals.

Our team organizes concerts, seminars, and Jewish holiday celebrations as well. Over the past year, we hosted more than 1,500 survivors at these events, including a special Hanukkah and Christmas gathering for 350 individuals. We distributed approximately 1,500 small gifts, along with some essential medical supplies, including walkers and canes. Additionally, we held weekend retreats for Holocaust survivors. These retreats touched the lives of more than 200 individuals, many of whom have no family and have outlived most of their friends.
We rejoice in the seven Holocaust survivors who came to faith in Jesus this past year.
Ministry to New Immigrants
Between 2022 and 2024, more than 140,000 new immigrants arrived in Israel, with more than 30,000 arriving last year alone. Seventy-two percent of these newcomers speak Russian. Our team developed personal relationships with many who deeply appreciate our taking the time to care for them personally.
We are helping these new immigrants purchase household items, navigate state and medical institutions, and have Sabbath meals, holiday celebrations, and Bible studies.
War Relief Ministry
Since the outbreak of the war, we provided financial support to approximately fifty families, distributing gift cards, particularly to families of reservists. We also blessed more than 1,000 soldiers with hygiene products, thermal underwear, flashlights, chargers, and other necessities. Additionally, we organized barbecues and concerts on military bases, with 200–300 soldiers attending each event, providing opportunities to present testimonies and demonstrate our faith.
In cooperation with city authorities, we also assisted evacuated families and Holocaust survivors by organizing concerts, events, and ongoing support. Our efforts allowed us to connect with hundreds of individuals, many of whom we continue to provide with follow-up care. Nine Israelis came to faith, and eleven families now regularly attend local congregations.

Women’s Ministries
We recently began a unique monthly program for women. Ten to twelve women meet each month for fellowship, Bible study, and collaborative activities. These meetings provide a space for encouragement, community, and spiritual growth.
We also launched an effort to provide emotional and spiritual care for believing female Israel Defense Forces soldiers. A team of Chosen People Ministries—Israel staff and volunteers took a group of ten women on a retreat in Europe where they received prayer, counseling, and fellowship. The experience created deep bonds and provided a foundation for ongoing support and healing. These women have remained connected and recently held a reunion. Here are quotes from two different women:
I felt like God was present through the entire time and prepared this program for us. I could see Him in the smallest details. For me, this was a huge turning point where God met me personally.
There aren’t enough words to describe the magnitude of the experience that this retreat was for me. I came with a heart ready for change and for God’s work, and I saw Him move far beyond what I had even expected. He worked in so many ways, ensuring that an inner healing process would begin within me.
We also held a one-day conference during the war to strengthen women in ministry leadership. Sixty women from across Israel attended, engaging in prayer, study, discussion, and fellowship. Attendees expressed a strong desire for continued gatherings and workshops throughout the year.
The Tel Aviv Messianic Center
Our Tel Aviv Messianic Center has continued to serve as a hub for outreach and discipleship. Through Sabbath dinners, worship nights, Bible studies, and young adult meetings, we are witnessing and discipling more people than ever before. Our digital outreach through our Hebrew evangelistic websites has resulted in thousands ordering or downloading our materials that show how Jesus fulfills Scripture and satisfies the deepest needs of our souls. We are also distributing many Isaiah 53 Explained Hebrew books and Hebrew New Testaments!
Conclusion
Through God’s provision and your prayers and support, Chosen People Ministries—Israel continues to make a profound impact for the gospel among Israelis of every stripe. Please keep these efforts in your prayers as we press forward in our mission to share the good news and provide hope to Israel’s people. As Paul wrote,
How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!” (Romans 10:14–15)
This calling is the heartbeat of our Israeli staff—to be used by God to bring this glorious message of joy and peace to His chosen people during very difficult days in the history of the Jewish people. We thank God for the Lord and for you for sending us into the harvest!
