Food Parcels Delivered to Displaced and Soldiers in Northern Israel

Seven weeks after the horrible terrorist attacks against Israel on October 7, Chosen People Ministries—Israel’s work in the country has become a new normal. Although the uncertainty of what is next remains, the team’s schedule has found a wartime routine.

This uncertainty still means the team has to be flexible to respond to needs not foreseen, or new developments with the war. Our staff is willing and ready to serve the Lord in whatever ways He guides us to pursue . . . so, Lord, send us!

As part of the new normal routines, our staff has been uniquely involved in various aspects of ministry, from proclaiming the love of Jesus (Yeshua) to listening, crying, and praying with people. Our workers are there to encourage others, including children and youth.

We also continue packing food parcels and delivering them to displaced people who are still in need for basic supplies and food. This includes the help we can provide to soldiers, especially in the north where there is still a threat from Hezbollah.

As we covet your prayers, we invite you to join us in prayer for:

• the protection of soldiers and civilians
• the health and rehabilitation of all soldiers and civilians who have been injured
• the government to make wise decisions during the four-day ceasefire
• the release of all hostages (starting now!); for the first fifty-eight people released from Hamas’ control to feel cared for, loved, and safe back home in Israel
• no escalation with Hezbollah on Israel’s northern border
• those who are hurting financially because of loss of work and/or displacement
• continued unity among the believers in Yeshua
• our staff and families in Israel who are serving diligently
• safety for our Chosen People Ministries global family amid rising antisemitism
