History of Jewish Work in San Francisco

In 1970, the ministry sent Moishe Rosen and a small band of helpers to minister to those living in the San Francisco Bay Area in order to minister to the large number of Jewish people who were now open to the gospel due to the Jesus Movement. Street evangelism and music ministry flourished in those days. Among those who came to faith there was Mitch Glaser, current president of Chosen People Ministries, who, along with three of his friends, found the Lord. The excitement and challenges of street evangelism began to influence the direction of his ministry in the future. It has been many years since Chosen People Ministries last had an active work in this area, but we are looking forward to restarting the branch in the near future.
