Jesus: The Tabernacle, and Its Significance

The Feast of Tabernacles reveals more than God’s presence accompanying the Israelites  in the wilderness. It foretells the day when God’s presence would dwell among us in human flesh and the implications of that beautiful truth.

This message points to:

• The God who is “with us”—Immanuel—who comes as the ultimate dwelling place of God to tabernacle among us.
• The Light who illuminates our darkness and the Cloud of holy glory who leads us to inherit the riches of God’s grace.

The Wonderful Counselor and Creator of the world who mysteriously yet marvelously deigned to wrap Himself in an earthly tabernacle to reclaim our place, our personhood, and our purpose—in Him.
