It is our goal at Chosen People Ministries to help Messianic Jews (Jewish people who believe in Jesus) to move to Israel under the Law of Return.
Aliyah.
It means “to go up,” but it is also the process by which Jewish people living outside of the State of Israel are granted Israeli citizenship.
It is the fulfillment of the promise that the Lord made through the prophet, Isaiah, “And He will lift up a standard for the nations and assemble the banished ones of Israel, and will gather the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth” (Isaiah 11:12). And it is the right of every Jewish person, under the Israeli Law of Return, to be a citizen of the Jewish nation.
Education
There are many changes when you leave one country and take up residency in another. Some of these are the kinds of issues that you may not even realize until you move. Chosen People Ministries provides needed education and instruction to assist those in the process of making Aliyah. This includes a wide variety of topics, from how to complete the application to where to seek assistance when you get to Israel.
Legal Assistance
We have seen recently that there may be some legal challenges to Messianic Jews making Aliyah. It is important to be aware of what those obstacles may be, and how to respond in order to overcome. In certain instances, it may be necessary to enlist the aid of legal support. Chosen People Ministries can provide small grants in those situations for the Aliyah candidate to receive sound legal counsel for the Aliyah process.
Resettlement Counseling
It is not easy moving to a new country. Chosen People Ministries provides resettlement counseling to Messianic Jews. This includes advice in many areas, like purchasing household items to general adjustment to life in Israel. Many other challenges can also be addressed by Chosen People Ministries—Israel staff, who will help Messianic Jews through the process of establishing a new home in Israel.

Some questions for you before you apply:
1) Have you explored and spent time in Israel? This suggestion should be considered before you make a life-changing move. Explore which cities, neighborhoods, circles of friends or family you might want to live in. Research what the cost of living is. Find out what you need to work in Israel, if you need to transfer accreditation, take courses, become legally self-employed, etc.
2) Do you have up to six months living expenses saved as the move can be costly and it might take a long time to transition to a new job.
3) Do you have friends or family in Israel? They will be very helpful in your transition.
4) Have you done some research of the types of paperwork you need to prove your Jewish lineage? Researching on websites like Nefesh B’Nefesh are very helpful.
5) Have you inquired on how to receive a letter from a rabbi to verify your Jewish heritage?
This program depends upon a grant that has been promised but not yet given to Chosen People Ministries. We will notify you when the grant is received.
