About Ayelet H.
Ayelet is a Jewish Israeli believer in Yeshua (Jesus). Born and raised in Israel, Ayelet grew up in a believing family and came to faith at an early age. Her parents instilled in her a love for God and His Word, and her father—a pastor and Bible professor—exemplified sound biblical teaching. After serving in the Israel Defense Forces (2001–2003), Ayelet’s love for people and cultures led her to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Biola University in California. While there, she felt God convict her of the immense need for biblically and theologically trained believers in Israel, and subsequently added a second Bachelor of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies. Ayelet believes God still desires to meet this need in Israel.
Following her graduation in 2008, Ayelet returned to Israel, served as a youth leader, studied apologetics at the University of Oxford (England), served four years in an Israeli discipleship program, and led several mission trips to Uganda. Finally, after years of prayerful waiting, God called Ayelet to continue her studies and be further equipped for ministry. Back at Biola University, Ayelet graduated from Talbot School of Theology with a Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies, and a Master of Arts in Old Testament (2019).
In February 2020, Ayelet came on staff with Chosen People Ministries. Through our “Mercaz” Ministry Center in Ramat Gan (near Tel Aviv), Ayelet helps facilitate community and outreach events for believers and unbelievers, such as: Sabbath dinners, worship nights, coffee and music nights, holiday events, and more. Ayelet teaches the ladies’ Bible studies and brunches, helps lead the weekly Bible studies, and loves building relationships and engaging in gospel-centered conversations. As the Feinberg Israel Program Coordinator, she is excited to encourage fellow believers to be further equipped through our MDiv-level Certificate program. In addition to Bible teaching, discipleship, and evangelism, Ayelet looks forward to leading mission teams to do outreach among Israeli backpackers travelling abroad; meanwhile, she helps review and translate outreach materials used for this backpackers’ ministry. Ayelet is passionate about communicating among churches God’s heart for Israel and the nations (Romans 1:16) and equipping and challenging Jewish Israeli believers to grow spiritually, be grounded scripturally, call our people to faith in Yeshua the Messiah, and fulfill our national calling to be His “light to the nations.”
