About Henry Monreal
Henry Monreal was raised in a believing household in Bellflower, California. He received the call to ministry in 2017 while on a two-week trip to Israel. Once at the Western Wall, he gained a deep desire to bring the gospel to his people. In 2018, he attended a trip to New York, where he experienced street evangelism and lived among the Jewish community, further encouraging his call to Jewish ministry. Three days after the New York trip, Henry flew to Chicago, where he spent the next four years at Moody Bible Institute in the Jewish Studies program under Dr. Michael Rydelnik. While there, he participated for three years in Kesher, the Jewish Studies group, and served as president for two of the three years.
Henry graduated in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Jewish studies and returned home to California. He served at his congregation for the summer as an intern and served two years as part of the Camp Kesher program as Activities Director. He has officially joined the staff of Chosen People Ministries in 2023. Henry looks to use these experiences while living in New York as part of the House of Living Waters program. As part of the year-long evangelistic training program, Henry will live in Greenwich Village and work as a missionary primarily on the campus of New York University (NYU) but also in Manhattan and across New York.
