About Yarden Levine, PhD
Yarden Levine is a Jewish follower of Yeshua (Jesus) who desires to share Messiah’s transformative power with the Jewish people and equip the Church to do likewise.
A classically trained violinist and composer, Yarden grew up practicing music many hours each day, going on to win numerous competitions, perform for radio and TV broadcasts, solo with major orchestras in concert halls, and perform for a US President. Building on his conservatory training and performance career, he went on to earn a doctorate, researching the history of early modern listening practices.
Despite these and other professional successes, none provided the sense of fulfillment Yarden was seeking. Over the course of his early adulthood, mental health battles gradually took over every area of his life. While doing doctoral research, Yarden, then an atheist, said a prayer on a whim that began transforming his mind and emotions, freeing him from years of anxiety and depression, and sending him on a journey that soon culminated in recognizing Yeshua as his Lord and Savior.
Currently completing his Master of Divinity at Talbot School of Theology’s Feinberg Center, Yarden serves with Chosen People Ministries in Brooklyn, where he leads worship and makes disciples of Yeshua.
