About Sean Goldberg
Sean Goldberg is passionate about evangelism and discipleship and uses music to open the doors of people’s hearts to encounter God. He writes music that encourages people to seek God and to exhort the Church in Israel. Whether through leading worship, songwriting, or music production, Sean’s goal is to create spaces where people can connect with God in a personal way, especially in their native language – Hebrew.
Sean ministers with Chosen People Ministries at the Tel Aviv Messianic Center, serving with our team to help organize outreach and discipleship events. He also leads worship at evangelistic events, conferences and gatherings. His work with HAMERCAZ reaches Israelis with the message of Jesus and encourages them to take the next steps in their faith.
Sean is the lead singer and co-founder of Bain Hakolot (Between the Voices), a Hebrew Christian band he started in 2012. The band has released three albums, and their music is aimed at connecting with Israelis who are looking for worship that speaks to their culture and identity in Christ.
Evangelism is a big part of Sean’s ministry. He’s been involved in outreach trips to places like India, Uganda, and New Zealand, sharing the Gospel there, especially among travelling Israelis and now partnering with local believers to make disciples in Israel as well.
In addition to his ministry work, Sean studied theology for two years at a Bible school in York, England, and is currently studying at Rimon School of Music, where he plans to continue his studies for the next few years. Sean is passionate about the Word of God and making relevant in a believer’s personal walk. His Bible education is a vital resource to his overall ministry.
Maayan, Sean’s wife, has also been deeply involved in ministry. For the last five years, she served in Tel Aviv, working with the homeless and people in need in the streets. Today, she works with Lilach, a pro-life ministry that supports women facing crisis pregnancies and advocates for the sanctity of life. Together, Sean and Maayan are passionate about reaching people with the love of Jesus and serving those in need.
The Goldbergs live in Ramat Gan, Israel, with their two daughters, Taliyah and Lishai. Their family is dedicated to living out their faith, making disciples, and reaching out to others in their community and around the world.
