Given a comparatively positive history, the rising antisemitism in North America is particularly troubling.

On July 8, 2022, the Presbyterian Church of the United States of America (PCUSA) issued a statement declaring Israel an apartheid state. As you will see in his letter, the position of the PCUSA does not necessarily reflect the perspective of every pastor or church member in the denomination.

The Jewish community of Ukraine, which stretches back centuries, has borne the brunt of the particular violence visited upon it time and time again simply because it is Jewish.

The topic of “Modern Day Antisemitism” is critical – particularly with regard to its impact upon Jewish evangelism. This is not an easy subject, and it is one we would probably prefer to avoid, but to do so would be at our own peril.
