Two Massive Hezbollah Attack Tunnels Destroyed

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) recently demolished two tunnels in southern Lebanon that Hezbollah had built for over a decade under the direct guidance of Iran. The two tunnels were over a mile in length and reached 80 feet underground. The tunnels were funded and built to Iranian standards, and it took 450 tons of explosives to demolish. The massive, controlled blasts even caused seismic (earthquake) warning systems to activate, but they did not set off earthquake sirens. Civilians were warned in advance and asked to open their windows to prepare for the blasts.

The two tunnels were located near each other but were not connected. The tunnels were intended to be used by Hezbollah as a staging ground. In the event of a land invasion, Hezbollah terrorists were to arrive in the tunnels, gather equipment, and prepare to invade. Inside the tunnels, IDF troops found concealed shafts for quick entry and exiting; many weapons and equipment woul be able to stay in the tunnel for an extended time. There were ten rooms with several bunkbeds. Thankfully, these attack plans never happened.

Please pray that Hezbollah’s attack tunnels and weapon caches are found and destroyed, removing the imbedded threats on Israel’s northern border.

Shipments of Military Aid Arrive in Israel from the USA

Recently, multiple aircraft and two cargo ships from the United States were loaded with 6,500 tons of munitions and material, and they docked in Haifa and Ashdod. The massive global logistics operation brought thousands of air and ground munitions, military trucks, joint light tactical vehicles (JLTVs), and additional military equipment to Israel. It was then loaded into hundreds of trucks and brought to Israel Defense Force (IDF) bases located throughout the country. The Defense Ministry said the air and sea bridge is a “central tool for building readiness as the security situation continues to develop. Since the launch of Operation Roaring Lion, Israel has received more than 115,600 tons of military equipment in 403 airlifts and 10 sealifts.”

Defense Ministry Director General Amir Baram said: “At any given moment, cargo aircraft and ships are en route to Israel, carrying thousands of tons of munitions and military equipment. This is core to the ministry’s strategy: supporting every IDF need, both through massive near term procurement and by building readiness for a demanding security decade ahead. The impressive procurement and shipping operation we have completed will continue to expand in the weeks ahead.”

Please pray for peace and calm in the Middle East.

Israeli Air Force Purchasing New Squadrons

Israeli Air Force (IAF) F-35I Adir

To defend the land of Israel, the Israeli Air Force (IAF) must defend the skies above it. The Defense Ministry, along with the Israel Defense Force (IDF), gave the approval for the acquisition of more Air Force planes. The purchase includes a fourth squadron of Lockheed Martin F-35 Adir fighter jets and a Boeing F-15IA squadron amounting to 350 billion shekels. This is the first step in Israel’s force building plan called Magen Israel (Shield of Israel). According to Defense Minister Israel Katz, the second Iran war revealed that Israel needs to keep increasing their buildup of force so that the IAF remains superior even decades from now. Defense Minister Director General Amir Baram agreed and stated that Israel needs to act immediately so that over a decade from now, the IDF’s superiority will be preserved.

Please pray for the land, sea, and air forces of the Israel Defense Force that protect the people of Israel. More importantly, thank the Lord that he is the One who protects the land of Israel and His people.

Chosen People Ministries Staff in Israel Plan and Host a Ladies Conference

Our staff shared with us how their recent women’s conference went. Praise God that the ladies who attended had such a wonderful time!

We are deeply grateful to God and would love to share what He has done during our women’s conference. In a country going through war and ongoing political instability, we clearly saw how important it is to create a space where women can pause, breathe, receive comfort, be encouraged, and realign their hearts with God.

The preparation process was filled with both excitement and responsibility. Our team served together to host the conference. The home-cooked food was delicious and nutritious. Of course, there were some obstacles, but God made a way! Just one week before the event, we found out that the Jerusalem Marathon had been moved to the same day, and so all the streets around our event space were closed. In addition, a Hebrew-speaking women’s conference was rescheduled for that exact day.

But this is where we saw the true spiritual hunger of the women who attended: some walked 50 minutes from the central bus station while others parked their car far away and walked for 30 minutes. Out of 56 registered participants, most made it, and even though one of the speakers couldn’t attend, God provided everything we needed.

From the very beginning, we could feel His presence. It was not just a program—it was a living, genuine encounter with God and a wonderful time of encouragement among each other.

The theme of the conference—“Calling Is Greater Than Fear”—deeply touched every heart through honest conversations. One of the most powerful moments was in the prayer groups. Women shared very personal struggles—pain, fears, and needs—and prayed for one another. There were tears, healing, and a deep sense of support and love.

It is also important to mention that many of the participants were not believers. This made the conference not only a time of encouragement for believers but also a powerful opportunity for evangelism. Through the atmosphere of love, openness, prayer, and the Word of God, these women were able to see a living faith and experience God’s presence.

We are thankful to God for every woman who attended and for the privilege to serve them. Please remember them in your prayers.
