Standing against Antisemitism

Recently, Chosen People Ministries partnered with Moody Bible Institute in Chicago to hold a Summit on Opposing Antisemitism. Approximately 500 people gathered from all around the country to learn about the rising tide of antisemitism in the United States and around the world. Attendees enjoyed excellent teaching, tools, and ways to stand up for Jewish people. They also participated in focused prayer for the safety and security of Jewish people worldwide. Our student attendees participated in discussions tailored to them and learned how to combat antisemitism on campus. During the event, a few dissenters heckled a speaker. Although they were escorted out of the venue by security quickly, it gave conference attendees a small taste of the aggression and misinformation that Jewish people experience.
He Climbed over Furniture to Hear about Jesus!

During a testimony, Sachar* leaped from his seat to exclaim, “Did you just say, ‘you are Jewish and believe in Jesus?’” He became so animated he climbed over furniture and pushed people aside so he could participate in the conversation! The Scriptures captivated Sachar. “I have never heard such powerful words. I just have to learn more.” After that day, Sachar asked searching questions and showed interest in Jesus but did not pursue it further. Then something changed during the war, where he was stationed with a Jewish follower of Jesus. Sachar began participating in a Bible study group and asking questions again! Please pray for him as he is taking steps to learn more about Jesus.

Powerful Testimony and a Big Surprise

A dynamic Messianic congregation in Buenos Aires, Argentina, was honored by the government as “A Place of Cultural Interest” recently. As part of the celebration of this designation, a group of more than sixty visitors attended an event and heard the powerful testimony of the congregation’s director, Joshua*, an Orthodox Jewish man who now believes Jesus is the promised Messiah of Israel. His story captivated the group, and what was planned as a one-hour visit extended to three hours, including a sampling of Israeli delicacies. Now, this visit has been featured in a public television broadcast, which has the potential to impact as many as 14 million people! We are praising God for this incredible outreach opportunity. Please pray that many lives would be impacted!

Lonely Soldier Finds Fellowship far from Home

Eran* was lonely and in a foreign country, far from his home in Israel. Having completed his military service in the Israel Defense Forces, he relocated to Japan to pursue higher studies. “I felt so disconnected from everything familiar,” he shared. “I miss my family and friends back home.” Through a series of connections, he was invited to an evangelistic service at the Chosen People Ministries center in Tokyo. There, he was overjoyed to meet other Israelis. At the end of the evening, Eran confessed, “I’ve been following you on social media for a long time, and I am so grateful I can visit your center in person. I have much to learn, but I feel love in this place and want to be part of your community.” Those words opened the door for a deep and meaningful conversation, concluding with a clear presentation of the gospel message. Please pray that the seeds planted in Eran’s heart that day will take root and lead to his salvation.
