Your Mission Report: May 2026

“Who Is She, Really?”

3

“So, this ‘Yeshua’ of yours—who is she really?”

It was one of the most surprising questions Vita* had ever heard.

Claire*, a Jewish woman in her eighties who came to faith in Messiah through the ministry some years ago, often opens her home to host tea-time Bible studies for her Jewish friends. Vita loves joining these warm gatherings and sharing the love of Messiah.

Recently, one of Claire’s friends, Brakha*, came along. She had attended some of our celebrations over the years, but this time she arrived with questions in her heart.

When Brakha asked, “Who is she really?” Vita gently explained that Yeshua is not “she” at all, but the long-awaited Jewish Messiah. She also shared her amazement that millions around the world today have come to know Israel’s Messiah, while so many of His own people are still waiting for another.

Brakha looked at Vita thoughtfully and said, “So, you think we didn’t accept Him?”

“Well,” Vita asked softly, “have you accepted Him?”

Brakha paused, then quietly asked, “How do I do that?”

Right there in Claire’s living room, surrounded by tea, friendship, and the love of Jesus, Brakha prayed for the very first time. She asked the God of her forefathers to forgive her sins through the sacrifice of Messiah Yeshua.

Thank you for reaching Jewish people like Brakha with the love of Jesus. Because of your prayers and faithful support, hearts are being opened in the most unexpected ways.

From Fear to Peace—in Japan?

While the wounds of war continue to weigh heavily on Israeli families, God is opening an unexpected door of healing in Japan.

In a country where only about one percent of the population is Christian, churches across Japan have come together to host a special children’s camp. Seeing this unity and faith is remarkable in itself—but this year, God made room for something even more beautiful.

Through the ministry of David*, Victoria*, and our volunteer team in Japan, six Israeli families from war-torn areas have been invited to come to the camp. For a few precious days, they are able to rest, laugh, and simply be together in a place of safety. It’s a much-appreciated change from their home environment of terrorism, rocket attacks, and fear.

More than anything, David and Victoria are praying that these families will experience the love of Jesus in a deep and personal way. As they are welcomed, cared for, and surrounded by Christian love, our prayer is that families will begin to find healing, peace, and hope.

Please pray that this time in Japan would plant seeds of God’s love in every heart—bringing those who do not yet know Yeshua to salvation and strengthening those who already trust in Him.

“We Are Listening And Learning”

What began as a conversation about current events unexpectedly opened the door to something much deeper.

At a retirement center’s weekly Bible study, our staff member Cathy* met Edith*, a resident. As they discussed the turmoil in Israel and Gaza, another Jewish woman, Lillian*, joined the conversation. Before long, the discussion turned to spiritual questions.

The conversation continued, and Edith invited Lillian to come to the Bible study the next day. What followed was remarkable. Fifteen people gathered as Cathy led a discussion from Luke 2. For two hours, no one wanted to leave. There were heartfelt questions, lively discussion, and a growing sense of friendship and trust.

By the end of the study, Cathy invited the group to place their trust in Jesus. Edith and another Jewish woman did not make a decision that day, but both said something deeply encouraging:

“We are listening and learning.”

Such conversations have continued week after week—in Bible studies, in hallway visits, and in phone calls. Please pray that as these friendships deepen, Edith, Lillian, and others will come to know the hope and love of Messiah.
