Your Mission Report: July 2025

Eran Believes!

Isaiah 53

When Eran,* a young Israeli, began studying the book Isaiah 53 Explained with a member of our team, he realized that faith in Jesus is faith in the Jewish Messiah promised by the prophets of Israel. He understood for the first time ever that he does not need to wait for Messiah to come and made the profound decision to accept Yeshua as his Savior and Messiah!

Following this decision, he was baptized in water and began his journey of faith. Eran is a remarkable young man who recently completed his military service in the Israel Defense Forces and is now pursuing his studies in Japan.

He has expressed a renewed sense of belonging and purpose since discovering his faith and being discipled. Now, he shares his newfound faith on social media and in person to other young Israelis living in Japan.

Please keep Eran in your continued prayers as he embraces his calling and navigates this new chapter in his life. Thank you for helping Eran believe!

You Are Sharing Messiah on College Campuses

University Students

As antisemitism grows on college campuses, you are showing love and care by sharing the hope of Messiah!

Rutgers University. Nearly twenty students attended our recent Purim celebration, and two rabbis showed up to see why Christians would celebrate Purim. It was such an amazing time with Jewish and Christian students reading the story of Esther from the Bible together. The gospel was shared, and two young women came to know Christ!

New York University (NYU). We hosted another Purim celebration with between 20–25 students in attendance to read the story of Esther, enjoy pizza, and have great conversations about the Bible. Our Sabbath evenings at NYU are growing, and students are interested in coming and enjoying spiritual conversations.

Please pray specifically for these five students:

  • Jing* and Dong* are from China and are very interested in learning about God.
  • Ruth* attends our Bible studies and is very close to having a relationship with the Lord.
  • Amran* is asking God to reveal Himself.
  • Zeke* does not see the value in believing Yeshua is the Messiah . . . yet.

“I Didn’t Know Jesus Was THAT Jewish!”

Sometimes helping our Jewish friends recognize the Jewishness of the gospel is enough to bring them closer to faith in Messiah . . .

At a Messianic Passover, one of our team members explained the origins of communion to Leah* and others, showing them how the broken matzah and the third cup of Passover—the cup of redemption—represent the sacrifice that Yeshua made on the cross. It opened the doors of communication as her Jewish unbelieving friends learned that everything Jesus did was part of God’s ongoing plan and a fulfillment of the Hebrew Scriptures and prophecies! One friend exclaimed, “Wow! I knew Jesus was Jewish . . . but I didn’t know He was THAT Jewish!”

This is just one more way you are helping us proclaim the truth of Scripture and bring Jewish people to faith in Messiah! Pray for Leah; she was at the Passover feast and she needs the hope of Messiah!

Yeshua is Messiah

When Doron* visited a Messianic Jewish congregation in Munich, he was shocked! So many truths about Yeshua . . . and many pointed to Him being the Messiah. He’s from Israel, but joined our church service in Munich, Germany, along with his Christian friend. Doron enjoyed the service very much, especially since many of our songs and prayers are in Hebrew.

But he was blown away to learn that Yeshua is the greatest and most righteous Jewish person who has ever lived, that “Christ” is the Greek word for “Messiah” (meaning “anointed king”), and that the Hebrew Bible prophesies about Yeshua. “It’s difficult in Israel to say you believe in Yeshua,” he mentioned. Yet, he was pleased to find out that there are many Messianic Jewish congregations in Israel.

Pray for Doron, that he will read the Hebrew New Testament we gave him and accept Yeshua as Lord and Savior.
